What Is Hot Air Balloon Game?

Hot Air Balloon Game is a simple flying game designed, developed, and published by the AREALME team in April 2026. You guide a small balloon through the sky, avoid danger, collect helpful items, and try to fly farther each time.

The trip starts above the clouds. As you keep playing, the route can reach the Moon, the planets, nearby stars, the Milky Way, and even Andromeda.

How to Play

The main control is very simple. On a keyboard, press the Left Arrow or Right Arrow key to move the balloon. On a phone or tablet, tap or hold the left half of the screen to go left, and the right half to go right.

Try to stay away from spike boards. When you see a Lift item, collect it to fly faster for a short time and get a brief shield. If you hit too many dangerous boards, the run ends.

You earn Cash during a flight and can spend it right away to help that run. After the run, you keep Coin. Coin helps future flights start stronger, so even a short flight can still be useful.

When you clear more routes, Route Pass can unlock new starting points. That means later flights can begin farther into the journey.

Inspired by a Familiar Little Balloon

The game was partly inspired by the Hot Air Balloon game inside Google Chrome. We liked the simple joy of guiding a balloon, but this is not a copy of that game. AREALME turned the idea into a much larger space journey with its own rules, upgrades, routes, and world.

A Space Journey You Can Learn From

The world map is based on the real universe as much as possible. You move from Earth's neighborhood through the Solar System, the Kuiper Belt, the Oort Cloud, nearby stars, nebulae, star clusters, the center of the Milky Way, the Magellanic Clouds, and finally Andromeda.

The game keeps things fun and easy to play, but the places, distance units, and short astronomy facts are there for a reason. While you play, you can also get a better feeling for how huge space is and how our cosmic neighborhood is arranged.

Quick Tips

• Use the arrow keys, or touch the left and right sides of the screen.
• Pick up Lift when the path looks dangerous.
• Spend Cash during one flight. Use Coin for progress that lasts.
• Clear routes to unlock better starting points.
