How to Take the Test
Verify the accuracy of your internal clock. Try to achieve a perfect 100 score on all stages!
The Process (10 Seconds per Stage):
- Guide Phase (First Half): Hear the beat and see the markers. Tap along to sync up.
- Solo Phase (Second Half): The audio and visuals stop abruptly. You must continue tapping at the exact same tempo without any help.
Difficulty Levels:
- Slow: Tests patience and sustain.
- Normal: Standard walking pace (resting heart rate).
- Fast: Tests reflexes and motor control.
Understanding Your Analysis
This tool analyzes stability rather than just hitting a note at a specific time.
Consistency is Key:
We prioritize interval stability (80% of the score). If you are consistently 50ms late, but the space between your taps is perfect, you will still get a high score. It's about the "groove"โthe relationship between notes.
Absolute Accuracy:
The remaining 20% is based on how close you are to the true metronome beat. Advanced players aim to minimize "Avg Error" to 0ms.
